Gratitude ... Day 12 - Ryans 2nd Construction Themed Birthday Party

Today was amazing and perfect in so many ways!!   Ryan and our family have such an amazing support system that traveled near and far to celebrate Ryan's 2nd Birthday with him.  I absolutely love doing all the little details, it is so fun for me to do these things for my little man, even though he prob won't remember, it will be fun for him to look back at!  We had a fabulous construction party for the big 2!!!

I love the prep for these parties and the time you get to spend with people helping!!  A HUGE thanks to Jennifer and Madi, super mom and daughter pair that came up on Saturday and made the greatest dirt cake ever!!!  It was delicious!!

 Every kid was greeted at the door to "clock in" for work and were given a uniform.  The uniform was these awesome hard hats that said "Ryan's Crew" and a tool belt from Home Depot.  They were given blow thingys and stickers for their tools!!
One of my favorite details was right at the entrance.  I took the banner I made for Ryan's 1st birthday with a pic from months 1-12 and hung it above the banner I made for his 2md birthday with a pic from each month 13-24.  It was just awesome and completely brought tears to my eyes looking back at this little man who has grow up so much and so fast.

My print outs of signs and everything else was from Amanda's Parties to Go on Etsy!  I love these little packages they really allow you to make everything personal for such a great price!

 It's so fun for Eric and I to have kids that love and love to play with all of our friends kids!!

 

 THE CAKE!!!  OMG the cake!!!  The actual cake was "Dirt Cake" that was made up of all the best ingredients including OREOS!!! 

The ducks are in the Pond which is blue Jello!  The yummy cake is in the biggest toy Tonka truck I have ever seen, the signs also from Amanda's parties to go, and the gravel cocoa puffs!

As each kiddo left the party they were given their treat bag for all of their "Hard Work" today!!  The goody bags were filled with constructions rubber duckies, stickers, and some smarties!!

 This was an awesome day and Ryan told me he had so much fun which is all that matters!!  Anything for my little guy!!  We love you so much!!
