Zoo

It was the perfect day, cloudy, even a light drizzle from time to time to go to the zoo!  Of course bad day for the zoo since they were completely re-doing half of the exhibits leaving us basically only the pandas while inside and sleeping to view.  Luckily they are my fave :)  We had an absolutely fabulous day!!

Such a Special Day

Today we were blessed, so blessed by such amazing family and friends to share in such a special day for us.  Ryan and I were baptized together, how many people get to experience that with their child!?!?  It was a perfect day and we are so thankful to everyone that came from all over to be with us!

When Julie asked months ago if we could keep Ginny while they went to a wedding I was super stoked and planned out our evening every since.  Ryan and Ginny are about the same size and both cute as buttons so having 2 of them was an absolute blast and so adorable.  Of course as I take way too many pics of everything, I would have many for this ocassion as well.  Aren't they just adorable!!!  love them both so so much!!

4th of July...Ryans 1st Nats game

Every year for the 4th of July we go to the farm, where my parents have land and hang out on the beach, boats, jet skis, ATV's etc.  We always have the best time hanging with friends and family, eating crabs and on and on.  This year we were experiencing record high temps so we didn't think it would be the best idea to have our little guy outside all day in 100+ degrees and then sleeping in a house with no AC so we make the parental decision to stay home.  Of course that stung a bit and Eric knew I would not be a happy camper sitting around inside the house all weekend so he got us Nats tickets!  We got tickets in the club level where there was access to the air conditioning to cool the little man off.  Wendy and Anthony met us there it was so great to see them.  Will, Brayden, adn Mr Gillepsie also joined us.  It was a wonderful and super hot afternoon but so much fun and totally worth the worrying about the heat.  All worked out fantastically for Ryan's very first Nats game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ryan was great, he is a total trooper and I think even had fun laughing and smiling and not napping the entire time.  He was able to catch a 15 minute snooze as seen above when we were in the stands, that ended with a home run and loud cheering poor little guy!!!

Not even 6 months old and he has been to a Caps game at Verizon and a Nats game at Nats Stadium...next up LANE STADIUM in a few short months...GO HOKIES!!!  I hope this kid likes sports!!!

Weekend Wrap!!!

We had a very special visitor and a ton going on, but we were home.  It was packed of fun and so relaxing at the same time!!!

Jill came up from Tampa to meet our little man, sooooo great to see her as always.  We sat on the deck Friday night (perfect weather) cooked out, finished a bottle of wine or two, just great to spend some time with her!!

Saturday afternoon we went to Victoria's Graduation Party!!  Congrats Cuzzzz, good luck in college!!  Can't believe Victoria is old enough for college already...

Saturday night we had an adults night out for to celebrate Gargan and Jenn's engagement.  We are soooo happy and excited for these two love birds and can't wait to celebrate their special day!!

Sunday was filled with even more babies!!  Our mom's group get together, the babies keep increasing I love it!!!

 Whew we are tired!!  2 hour nap for both of us...
