22 Months

Ry Ry Ry Ry-

This month you have started taking your little words and now forming complete sentences.  You told us a knock knock joke in the car one day, it's just crazy how fast you catch on and how smart you are.  When you are trying to explain yourself I swear I just see the wheels turning up there in the ole noggin.  You are growing up way to fast, I do love watching all the changes, but I think pretty soon I am just going to be left wondering what on earth happened and where the time went.

Let's see!!  This month has not been all roses like the rest.  For some reason mommy is your least favorite person, Grandma and Papa are by far your favorite, and daddy falls somewhere in the middle.  You ignore me on purpose when you know I am talking to you and you just go on about your business like I'm not even talking.  One day when I picked you up from daycare you started crying and asked Mrs Lynda if you could stay there for the night :(  We still take our bath's every night together and that is literally the only time you will hang out with me.  I know it's just a phase and at some point you will like me again hah!

You definitely know how to play whoever you are with to get whatever you want and throw a huge tantrum when you are denied.  You are so sweet and funny when you want to be, hillarious even.  You love to be the center of attention, dance every time you hear any sort of music, can sing your ABC's, count to 10, and explain and communicate basically anything you want.  You have memorized most of your books in the regular roation and flip to your favorite page during bedtime reading.  We read a lot of books, it's as if you know the book is coming to an end and start saying the next one before we are even done, see SMART!!!  You also decided you like jumping on the bed and now don't like Gabba and can't live without Mickey!  Oh and you LOVE laundry!  Just the putting the clothes in part, but it's so funny.

The holidays are going to be so much fun!!  Every time you see any Christmas decoration, Santa, anything you say "Chismas!!!!!"  I love your passion for things.  I love watching you try to figure things out, and most of the time you do! 

This month you went number 1 in the potty!!  Mrs Lynda asked for pull ups so I think thats what you are wearing over there.  You also take naps on your little Thomas the Train chair/couch pull out thing, sleep in the crib at home :)  You love Devin and Ariana so much, your friends at daycare and want to be just like them!

Everyday you become more and more a little boy and more and more a 2 year old.

I'm scared!!
