Preggo!! We will be 30 weeks preggo this Sat, whattttttt?!?!?! This pregnancy as I have said a million times has totally flown by, good thing cuz I am exxxxhausted, all.the.time! I am ready for her to be here and to get some energy back and ability to do active things, of course I am not ready for Ryan to be 18 months which he will be when she arrives. My friends are the best and planned the perfect sprinkle to celebrate Emily on the way! It was totally purple, it's like they know me!! It was the perfect intimate girls afternoon, just what the doctor ordered after the craziness of this month called life.
Ryan is on the Move!! by move I mean never stops! He started walking about a month ago and now we are almost to a light jog! We have also developed the good ole whine, everything's a phase right, oh my! Stay tuned for his 16 months update in a few days, he is quite the little ham and is growing and learning everyday! He keeps us on our toes, entertained, and amazed by him at all times!
We're Moving!!! So just when I said "I think we are too close to having the baby to get our house ready to move," we put an offer on a house and get our house ready for sale. That is no easy task, especially with a husband, two dogs, and a baby! For sale means- no clutter, NOTHING on the counters, vacuumed couches, perfectly opened blinds, and vacuum lines on the carpet at all times. So we packed up a ton of stuff to clear out room for the stuff we actually need.
On Thursday...tear On Saturday...Thank GOD
RoadTrips!! Eric went with the guys to Deep Creek to celebrate Gargan's bachelor party for a guys weekend, had a great time. I went with my sister the bride to be, her fiance, and my mom to the OBX to book her wedding venue!! Village Beach Club- Jun 21st, 2014- so super duper excited!!!
New Job! Eric joined Broadpoint and started a new job this past month. He is commuting to Bethesda for now, but has already been working from home more and traveling locally rather than to New Jersey for days at a time which has been wonderful. So nice to have him home!
Daycare- Sadly our days of Shanna are over, and ended a week early when she broke her foot forcing her into retirement. THANK GOD for our amazing support system we were able to pull together babysitters for the week that was to be her last. Eric's mom came up the next week and my mom has had our little rug rat this week! Next week Ryan is going to have some normalcy for the next 5 weeks when Victoria comes home from college to provide day care for the little man!! I did do a post on care.com and my next project is finding the perfect nanny for 2 in October!
Eric and I just keep saying if we can make it through this month there isn't much we can't make it through. From money going in and out of our bank account like a hot potato (very stressful for a micro managing CFO like myself), work has been crazy for both of us- Eric starting a new job, and my company winning a huge contract that is going to double the size of the company, daycare on the fly day by day, getting a house ready for sale with most weekends already booked with events for family and friends- it feels so good to be sitting on the couch right now and doing something for fun!!!
