Day 24: Competition
Today as the Hokies will take on the Wahoos I am reminded how awesome long-standing rivalries are. I am thankful for competition! Competition is what gives each of us stepping stones and goals to become better at whatever it is you strive to be the best at. Beating the team you have never beaten, achieving personal goals in a sport, getting the promotion, raising a good child, working hard for a good marriage, etc all make us work a little harder at everything we do! Without competition comes mediocrity and who wants to just be mediocre?!?! Not me!
