GVALS - over $150,000 Raised to Date!!!

The 3rd annual George Vinall ALS Foundation golf tournament and dinner reception is upon us. This year the foundation fundraiser is scheduled for Monday, September 27th. A note from the leader of the GVALS foundation:

About the George Vinall ALS Foundation
The George Vinall ALS Foundation is a non-profit organization run by volunteering friends and family of George Vinall with the goal to raise awareness and help find a cure for ALS. ALS, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, which is sometimes commonly referred to as "Lou Gehrig's disease" is a rapidly progressive and fatal neurological disease that attacks the nerve cells responsible for voluntary muscle control.

Inevitably with ALS, a person will lose their strength including voluntary use of arms legs and body, followed by the inability to breathe without ventilation support. Most people succumb to ALS from respiratory failure within 3 to 5 years of the onset of symptoms.

Having watched George suffer from this disease, we made it our mission to raise proceeds for cutting edge research for ALS and prevent this disease from ever occurring again.

Thanks to your help and donations, we will work to find a cure for this terrible disease. Inspired by George's strength, we will fight until we find a cure.
