20 months

Hey BUG!!!

My little boo!!  You are seriously mommy's little man, although you do seem to be clinging more to daddy this month :(  We just love you so so much and think you are the coolest little kid there ever was.

We went to the beach again this month and you are just amazing.  You spent basically all day building your castles or playing in the water.  While in the water on your boogie board you would say "jumpin the waves, jumpin the waves, jumping the waves" it was just hillarious.  You LOVE the ocean and were definitely out further that any kid your age needs to be but you kept saying farther farther and of course you get your way!  You are so stinkin cute when you are happy and having fun.  We spent a few days with the Wahlquists, you love those kids, especially Kaitlyn and have some serious love for her, it's so funny!

Daddy took you to a play group with your new day care and you did you first craft.  You made a puppy out of a paper plate but of course you had ripped all of the parts off by the time you got home.  Mommy is SUPER nervous about going back to work.  I have had the best time home with you for the past 10 weeks.  You are at such a fun age.  You really want to learn everything, you are so curious, and so happy, and so nieve about anything that goes on in the real world.  It's amazing to watch a little human with such a clean slate and they way they learn how the world works, your imagination is incredible.

You are still super smart and way beyond your age.  You repeat everything but then actually apply it in the real world.  For instance as we drove to the beach, you saw cows, you say cow and moooo etc, when we pulled into the beach you talk about your boogie board and about the dolphins!  You can count to 1-2-3 and 3-2-1 and you know what comes after every number through 10 but can't count that high yourself.  You are obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba, it's kinda become a problem, but definitely works on long trips!

You are a great great great kid.  And so super sweet and cuddly.  Don't get me wrong, we have definitely been going through a terrible temper tantrum stage and you definitely have a very hard time hearing the word "no."  Of course you get your way pretty much all the time, so definitely our fault.  We have two weeks left together and I am so excited to spend every minute with you and am so sad to leave you.  I am so so happy we have had this time together.  You and your sister are everything to us and we love you more than anything!
