15 months

Sweet baby boy!!

We had your 15 month appointment this morning!  Everything looked great, you loved all the instruments and got to play with the tongue depressor.  Then you threw a huge temper tantrum, doc said that was normal but that we needed to show you who was boss, and can start doing timeout for 60 seconds.  I laughed!  I am sure you will just sit still for 60 seconds, we'd be lucky for 6 ha!  You weighed 25lbs - 58th percentile and were 32.25 inches - 88th percentile, head is still holding strong at 100%.  She was impressed with your words and how many you knew as you went right down the list with her and blew her a kiss, and alllllll your teeth!

Words!!!  All of the sudden you make sense and really do talk all of the time.  You always have made noise all the time but now you really try to communicate, so cool!!  Of course you still say "pane" (plane) and point to the plane flying over a thousand times a day and for those big ones they get a "whhhhhoooooaaaaaaaaaa," "Occo" (Rocco), "Cowie" (Callie), "Down" (down, up, in, and out), "Done," "Uh-Oh," "Haywey" (Haley- you spent a lot of time at Gma's this month), "fish" for gold fish, "car," "bird," "Twee" (for Tree), and in the airport while you were waving to everyone you went up to a little girl waving and said "hi" it was hillarious.

Walking all over and pretty much done with crawling unless you are crawling under something and playing hide-n-seek.  You also climb, on everything!  You climb from object to object, you climb into things that aren't meant for you to be in and half the times you don't even fit in, then you get stuck and repeat!  You wave and blow kisses, know "more" in sign language, and really just whine for everything you don't know how to say which is A LOT!  You are so playful and such a happy little guy!!  Always smiling and laughing and joking around!  You love to mess with Grandpa, you go to him scream then go away then go back and pretend to go back and turn away...you two are so cute!!!  Mike sure does have a sensitive side under mr tough guy!!

You also have become super independent.  You say down all the time literally every time we are holding you.  You yell, scream, and put your head on the floor when you don't get your way, holy moly, #paybacksarehell can you say temper tantrum.  And when you are walking on concrete and I try to hold your hand, you just push it away, wellllll alright then!

You spent a good bit of time with Gma this month, she took you to the play place at the mall where you had a blast, she sent me pictures all day, I loved seeing that big smile on your face.  She also of course went out and bought you all new super cute little boys clothes for summer.  You also have this obsession with her, like she is your most favorite person ever!  As soon as you see her you are soooo happy and want to be no where except in her arms, and then when she leaves you cry for at least 30 minutes even in the bath, so that kinda hurts my feelings.

We also went to Atlantis this month, you LOVED it and loved all the fish!!  You loved Brett and Taylor, they played with you alllll the time!  You loved all the water, took 3 hour naps in your stroller by the pool, slept great, weren't really on a schedule and were basically a perfect little angel.  You still appear to be laid back and go with the flow, awesome!!

Sleeping has been great, 11-12 hours every night.  You go to bed sometime between 7:30-8:30 and sleep till 6:30-7:30, not a peep!!  You sleep with you two little bears, one of which I have been trying to get you to become obsessed with and I didn't think it was working until Isabella tried to take it from you, #proudmomma!!!  haha it's the little things right, better go buy 20 of those to have on hand!

Easter- your second Easter, it's so cool to watch you kinda get it!!  We dyed easter eggs and you loved it!!  You loved clicking the spoon around in the coffee mug and making all that racket and then of course you loved just sticking your whole hand in the dye and grabbing the egg...needless to say a few of your eggs didn't make it but you had a blast and it was so cool/cute to watch!

You are super entertaining and so funny, we love spending time with you and just watching to see what comes next, because it could be literally anything!  You are a great little boy and we love you so much and are loving this age!!!
