Parker's do Dewey!!!

An absolutely fabulous week spent in Dewey with family and friends!! The drama was low, the fun was high, and the rest and relaxation was out of this world.

Saturday August 14th around 7:30 am we all met at Debs house to load the truck, what might seem like a lot of space was not at all when you piled in the weekly essentials for a party of 5. We arrived in Rehoboth an hour prior to being able to pick up the key and started our week off at Dog Fish brewery, a simple lunch ended with being blocked into our parking spot for close to an house due to none other than a Rehoboth Beach local getting a DUI of course RIGHT behind our car leaving us not able to move. PS this was 12:30 in the afternoon, let that simmer!!

On tap for Saturday night: Jam Session of Course and check out the awesome little Coors Light Kegs, sooooo cute!!! Oh and Welcome Stevie!!!!

Sunday night we tried something new: Hanging out on the beach!!! This turned out to me a cheap and super fun alternative to going out and spending a ton of money!! We packed our water bottles (Thanks Jenn!!) and got comfy in the sand!! Welcome "Jules"!!!

Monday night was nothing new to the Parker family beach vacation. Grease Band at Bottle and Cork, this night is for dad and his LOVE for this band and this music. We all had a great time!!

It took us until Tuesday but we finally made it to the Starboard. We gave beer pong a whirl, not too successful there, ooops!

Wednesday was something new and a true test to the lack of patience that runs in the Parker blood. We woke up to RAIN, and not just a little bit of rain but FLOODS and downpours eeeeek. Of course we sat around "thinking" of a plan for over an hour, once we acted on the idea to go wait in the 2 hour + line to get a bowling lane we headed down to the Ocean City to find out the wait was now up to 3 hours gooooooooooooooood lord!!! So we entertained ourselves by french braiding our hair and grabbing lunch- please contain the excitement. Welcome to the braided bunch!

Thursday, THANK GOODNESS the sun returned. Beach by day, Que Pasa by evening, and beach bonfire by night- met some great New Yoooorkers!!!

Friday, my first day to the last year in my 20's Happy Birthday to me. Woke up to breakfast made - thanks daddio, lovely day on the beach, lil hh action on the beach as well. Came home to a decorated in purple of course house of streamers and balloons (thank you Julie), amazing dinner (thanks Chris), pretty strawberry shortcake cake (thanks babe), and a great last night at the beach of a hand in foot tournament which I did not win (thanks no one). We also pulled the cheesy card this year and did family/friend photos in matching outfits haha!

Of course all fabulous vacations must come to an end....bye bye Dewey :(
