districts wrap up

After finishing the regular NOVA league in 7th place we headed into playoffs as the underdogs for the other 2nd NOVA spot for the districts bid. After quite a few tie breaking nail biter endings we pulled it out and won the tournament. This past weekend 6 of us (3 teams) headed down to the districts which was Chris, Whit, and my first time. It was awesome, we won our flight again 4th seed out of 4 making it to the playoff round on Sunday. We lost our first match to Richmond 1-2 and won our second match to the other NOVA team 2-1. After waiting for hours to find out how the match went between them we got news we finished in 2nd place!!! The tournament director said usually VA gets a wild card to sectionals so we are waiting patiently for that news!! All and all an awesome season and a 2nd place fantastic ending!!!
